Why Choose Toronto’s Belyea Bros.?
A Local, Family Owned Company That Cares About You
We are the antidote to the faceless, big box enterprises, claiming to care about your needs, but really just wanting to sell you a box in the basement. We will go out of our way to ensure that the systems we suggest suit your home and family needs over the long term.
PH1 – Belyea Bros. Limited holds the First Plumbing and Heating License issued in Toronto
This evokes the days when plumbing and heating were more closely linked. Now, we are the Experts in Heating and Cooling for Older Toronto Homes with hot water heating systems, and, of course, conventional forced air systems.
More than 100 years of continuous operation making us the Oldest Heating & Cooling Company in Toronto
The heating and cooling industry has the second highest rate of failure after restaurants. In the unsettled economic times of past few years, isn’t it nice to know that the company you rely on to look after your home comfort is here to stay?
A Commitment to Safety
Belyea Bros. is certified by Contractor SafetyCheck, a national, third-party auditor, that monitors compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act. We are also participants in the WSIB SCIP programme run by the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA).
A Fully Licensed & Insured Company
Belyea Bros. is licensed under the B149 Ontario Gas Code, which is governed by the Technical Standards Safety Authority (TSSA). We carry the appropriate level of commercial liability insurance, and are covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). To further enhance your peace of mind, we also conduct background checks on all of our staff members.
Industry Accreditation
Belyea Bros. is Better Business Bureau A+ Accredited Contractor, and a member of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) a national association of HVACR professionals. We are a member of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB), and also hold a seat on the Enbridge Contractor Advisory Council.
Professionally Prepared Estimates That Match Your Needs
All of our proposals for new equipment are based on a Heat Loss/Heat Gain calculation for your home. We also will prepare a detailed assessment of your gas appliance needs, including taking measurements, documenting specifications, and taking photographs. This is how we ensure that the appliance we recommend is appropriate for the specific needs of your home. Our goal is to give you a high quality system that will perform for many years with the lowest possible energy costs.
Fully Licensed, Factory Trained Mechanical Technicians
All of our lead installation and service technicians are government-licensed gas, and air conditioning technicians. Our technicians spend an average of 30 days of training each year to constantly enhance their skills and knowledge base. This compares to an industry average of less than 2 days of training per year.
24 Hour Emergency Service
A live person answers our phones 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring that you can get help when you need it most. Our technicians carry thousands of dollars worth of equipment on their trucks to help rescue most equipment, and you have our commitment that if we don’t have it, we will find it for you as quickly as possible.
Honest Answers and Expert Advice for any budget
We are not the cheapest company in Toronto, and we will go out of our way to show you why. We do, however, have solutions that will fit the budget of every household in the city, so that you can benefit from our expertise without having to sacrifice quality.
We’re known throughout the industry as a company of the highest integrity. When you call us, you’ll be speaking with our local Leaside office. We’ll treat you with respect, and you can rely on us to provide honest answers and expert advice. We continually poll our clients for their satisfaction with our service. These results are reviewed by our Operations Manager, Stephen Thomas, and our CEO, David Graeme, to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
